I just across this by chance and I loved the tune and the music. I probably hold a bit of a different viewpoint on this conflict as I am familiar with our (the U.S.) involvement in the original white papers drafted on how the U.S. would breakup the Russian Federation, gain control of it's vast resources through the lifting up of Western friendly oligarchs, and to drive a permanent wedge between Russia and China. It was a multi-stepped plan that the U.S. started in it's fast NATO expansion, then the financing and supporting of the orange revolution in Kiev in late 2003, the rose in Georgia in 2006 that worked, and finally success in Kiev in 2014. I could go on and on, but ukraine was nothing more than a proxy for the U.S. to put military and intelligence assets on Russia's doorstep, while hopefully busting them into little pieces so they would eventually be a vassal state of the U.S. Well, they had everything wrong and underestimated and stirred up a hornests' nest of neo-nazis and ultranationalist and then everything in ukraine on their side has gone to hell. This song is fitting because, like Vietnam, the U.S. didn't know what they were doing going against an enemy they totally underestimated and where are they headed? NATO has virtually no more weapons to send but small monthly amounts. Now, the U.S. has had to retract it's original order not to let Azov, Kraken, Right Sector, or any other neo-nazi groups have american weapons because they are so desperate not to lose. But they have already lost, it's just that week before the last Hueys take off from Saigon the U.S. has realized we are in. All I know is there were peace plans offered in Dec. 2021 by Moscow and the U.S. tore them up because it wouldn't have let NATO on Russia's doorstep, but think about it in reverse, would the U.S. want Russian or Chinese bases in Mexico, Canada, Cuba, or the Caribbean? The U.S. is so full of hypocrisy. And millions misplaced and half a million ukrainian soldiers dead and severely wound at least and hundreds more everyday now. But the U.S. doesn't want it to stop because it's not american soldiers dying and the U.S. has never given a rat's arse about the ukrainian people ever. And that is the saddest truth of all, even beyond a Bandera worshipping zelensky.
